The phrase gets used loosely in this industry, so it is worth being specific. For us, research-driven means an idea has to survive a defined process before it is published. It is not a tip someone heard, a screenshot forwarded from another group, or a stock that happens to be trending on social media.
Every setup we look at has to answer three questions. What is the market structure telling us? Where is the level that invalidates this view? And is the distance between entry and invalidation small enough to make the trade worth taking at all? If any of those answers is unclear, the idea does not go out.
A recommendation without reasoning teaches you nothing and leaves you unable to judge it. So every idea we publish carries the thinking behind it: what we saw, why it mattered, and what would prove us wrong. Over time that does something a stream of bare calls cannot — it builds your own read of the market.
It also keeps us honest. When the reasoning is written down, a weak idea is obvious before it is published rather than after.
We do not promise guaranteed returns, publish accuracy percentages we cannot substantiate, or push volume for its own sake. Some sessions produce very few ideas worth acting on. On those days we would rather say so than manufacture activity — a quiet day is not a failure of research, it is a result of it.
Four stages, applied the same way every session.
Scan segments for structural setups — breakouts, reversals, continuation patterns worth a closer look.
Test the setup against volume, sector behaviour, and derivatives data. Most candidates are discarded here.
Set the entry zone, the stop-loss level, and the target before the idea is written up — never after.
Share the idea with its reasoning, its levels, and an honest note on what could invalidate it.
Four principles shape every idea we publish. Here are the other three.
Defined entries, stop-losses, and position sizing so risk stays in your control.
